Listeria Sausage Recall Information – Double B Foods, Inc. has voluntarily recalled up to 98,000 pounds of frozen, pastry-wrapped sausages after testing in the company’s Meridian, Texas, plant showed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in a batch of sausage produced between October 5 and November 6.
According to the company, there have been no reports of illness linked to the sausage rolls.
The recall affects 12 states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas) where the products are sold under the Double D and other private-label brands.
